12. What does an agency relationship really mean to me?
Answer - It means you are owed the following six items:
1) Loyalty - Broker/salesperson will act only in his or her clients best interest.
2) Confidentiality - Broker/salesperson will keep client's confidences unless required by law to discuss specific information (such as disclosure of material facts to buyers).
3) Disclosure - Broker/salesperson will disclose to clients all material facts of which broker/salesperson has knowledge which might reasonably affect the clients' rights and interests.
4) Obedience - Broker/salesperson will carry out all client's lawful instructions within the scope of their agreement and state law.
5) Reasonable Care - Broker/salesperson will use reasonable care in performing duties as an agent.
6) Accounting - Broker/salesperson will acoount to clients for all client's money and property received as agent.
