The restrictions for the use of our free moving truck are common sense restrictions and are typical of what you would find if you were paying for a rental truck from a commercial rental company.
- You must be licensed to drive in Minnesota.
- You must provide proof of auto insurance. Your policy will usually cover rental vehicles. Call your insurance agent if unsure.
- Proof of insurance must be a copy of the policy declaratoins, or your wallet or car card which shows company name and policy number as well as the dates of policy which covers the dates you use the truck.
- You may only use the truck for household moves. No hauling of firewood, hay, etc. is permitted.
- The truck is available for local moves only. No one way out of town moves are permitted.
- A $75 deposit is collected as a gasoline deposit. This may be collected from closing proceeds or by cash/check at time of rental.
- You agree to return truck with a full gas tank, or pay $2.00 per gallon to top off the tank.
- You agree to be bound by the terms of the rental contract, vehicle inspection report, and Dos and Dont's Agreement you sign at the time of rental.
- We reserve the right to refuse rental.
That's about it! Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have.
