Processing a Sale Online
Once a sale is made, documents must be distributed to real estate, title and mortgage companies. This is typically done by mailing documents (too slow), faxing documents (too hard to read) or overnight courier (expensive and not available in all areas.
As companies acquire the ability to handle electronic PDF and Paperport files, I forward documents using the internet. This method allows documents to be automatically processed into the proper file. Documents are sent by email with attachments. This delivers clean, crisp documents quickly and at very low cost. The advantages also include the elimination of telephone tag, lost faxes, and the need to actually track someone down to speak with them. In a busy real estate market this insures a timely closing with a reduced number of problems.
Progress Reports
At the same time, buyers and sellers are kept updated on the processing of the sale by telephone calls from me and written reports mailed every 7 to 10 days. These reports can also be emailed to clients equipped to receive them.
